Aam Aadmi Party is going to run ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign in Delhi. In this campaign which will run from 1st to 20th December, the people of Delhi will be asked questions about the Chief Minister. The public will be asked whether CM Arvind Kejriwal should resign if he is arrested? Or should the Delhi government be run from jail itself? In this campaign, Delhi government ministers, party MLAs, councilors and officials will go door-to-door in 2600 polling stations of Delhi and seek their opinion from the people.
The second phase of the campaign will start from 21st to 24th December in which MLAs and councilors will take public opinion by holding public dialogues in all the wards. On Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party state convenor Gopal Rai gave information about this at the party headquarters along with Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha. During this time he attacked the central government. He said that Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain and Sanjay Singh were put in jail by making a fake case. Even after this, BJP did not get any peace, so now a conspiracy is being hatched to arrest Arvind Kejriwal.
BJP upset after losing in Delhi- Gopal Rai
Giving detailed information about the ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign, Gopal Rai said that BJP is continuously losing the assembly elections in Delhi. Despite running the government in MCD continuously for 15 years, the people of Delhi gave priority to the work of Kejriwal and uprooted the BJP. He said that seeing the way the AAP government under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal is working in Delhi, top BJP leaders have started feeling that BJP cannot form its government in Delhi at any cost.
Delhi State Convener Gopal Rai said that BJP has started a conspiracy to eliminate Arvind Kejriwal. Under this conspiracy, a case of fake liquor scam has been made and the process of putting each and every leader of Aam Aadmi Party in jail has been started. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, former minister Satyendar Jain were jailed.
Proposal to run government from jail- Gopal Rai
Gopal Rai said that CM Arvind Kejriwal had held a meeting with his MLAs in this regard. He had asked what should be done if he is arrested? The MLAs had proposed that even if arrests are made, the government should run from jail and should not resign. Similarly, Arvind Kejriwal also held a meeting with the councilors. The councilors also put forward the same proposal. The workers said the same in the party’s state conference also.
CM Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi is on the strength of the people. The people of Delhi have given mandate to Aam Aadmi Party. Therefore, after his arrest, whether he should resign or run the government from jail, the decision will be taken after asking the public. For this, Arvind Kejriwal had called upon the party workers to go to every house in Delhi and take the opinion of the public. Further work will be done according to the opinion of the people of Delhi.

‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ campaign will run from house to house
AAP’s Delhi state coordinator Gopal Rai said that all our ministers, MLAs, councilors and party officials will participate in this signature campaign. Also, teams are being formed at the divisional level. These teams will go door-to-door and talk to people. For this, the party has prepared a pamphlet, which will be given to people from door to door. Party workers will discuss with the people the things said in the pamphlet that how is the so-called liquor scam fake?
Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha said that BJP considers only Arvind Kejriwal as its challenge in the entire country. Just as Kansa knew that only Lord Krishna would end him, similarly BJP also knows very well that its dirty politics will end only at the hands of Arvind Kejriwal. Kansa made every effort to stop Lord Krishna. Similarly, BJP is also making every possible effort to destroy Aam Aadmi Party.
AAP takes every decision after asking the public – Chadha
Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha said that all the party workers and leaders have appealed to Arvind Kejriwal that even if BJP puts you in jail, do not resign and run the government from jail. BJP only wants that Arvind Kejriwal should resign and the Delhi government should come to a standstill. Whether cabinet meetings have to be held in jail, whether important decisions have to be taken from jail or officers have to go to jail with files.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party does not take any of its decisions without asking the public, that is why Aam Aadmi Party is going to start this signature campaign. Through this, we will go door to door and take the opinion of the people of Delhi that by giving your precious vote, you made the elder son of your family, your brother the Chief Minister. We will put forward the opinion of the public in the signature campaign.
