On July 7, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will launch the mega campaign to plant 70 lakh saplings under the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ campaign. Many important programs related to environmental protection will be organized on this occasion. Besides, 300 new electric buses will also be dedicated to the public to make Delhi’s public transport more environment friendly.
The aim of Delhi Government is to make this campaign a comprehensive campaign of public participation rather than limiting it to only government programs, so that more and more people contribute to increasing the greenery of the capital by planting trees.

70 lakh tree plantation campaign will start from July 7
