DTC has launched new bus route 753 extension to increase connectivity between West and Central Delhi. It will connect Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Uttam Nagar with Mori Gate, Kashmiri Gate and railway stations, which will make the journey of passengers easier.
New Delhi [भारत]July 6 (ANI): Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has launched a bus service, Route 753 Extension, on an experimental basis to cater to the needs of passengers traveling between several residential areas of Central Delhi and West Delhi. An official statement said that this new route will provide direct bus connectivity to Mori Gate, Kashmere Gate, Old Delhi Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station to the residents of Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Hastsal, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Hari Nagar and surrounding areas.
Transport Minister gave information
Delhi Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said the launch of the new route reflects the government’s commitment to make public transport more accessible and passenger-friendly. Singh said, “The launch of Route No. 753 Extension is an important step towards our commitment to provide accessible and convenient public transport to every citizen of Delhi. This new route will improve daily connectivity between Central and West Delhi, while also providing better transport facilities to members of the Purvanchal community traveling to Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh through major interstate transport hubs of the city.”
Passengers’ journey will be easier
The minister said that the Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is continuously expanding public transport services to ensure that residents have access to a safe, convenient and citizen-centric transport system. He further said that this newly launched route will provide residents of Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Hastsal, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Hari Nagar and surrounding areas a direct, affordable and convenient connection to Central Delhi and Mori Gate, thereby making the daily commute easier for office goers, students, senior citizens and other regular commuters.
