NEET Exam: A day before the NEET-UG exam, the Delhi government has made a big announcement. With this decision of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, everyone from the students appearing for NEET exam to the parents are happy.

NEET Exam Centers: Just a day before the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)-UG, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has wished the students and their families. He said that the Delhi government has ensured that no family faces any problem related to commuting, heat or long wait on the day of examination. He said that NEET students will be able to travel free in DTC buses, while special ‘cooling zones’ have also been created for parents and families outside all the 97 examination centres.

Special cooling zone should be built in Delhi near NEET center

  • CM said that it is the responsibility of the government to respect the dreams of every student and the expectations of every parent. The entire city is wishing success to every candidate who takes the exam.
  • The Chief Minister said that a total of 97 centers have been set up for the NEET exam in Delhi. Special cooling zones are being prepared near all these centers by the district administration.
  • He said that this is the first time that special arrangements have been made for the wait keeping in mind the comfort of not only the students but also their parents and family members.

From tea-water to medical facilities

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said that it was observed that when students are inside the examination hall, the worry, heat and trouble of the parents waiting for hours outside often goes unnoticed. Understanding this human aspect, Delhi Government has created cooling zones around the examination centres. There will be seating and rest facilities for parents in these zones. Besides, there will also be arrangements for clean drinking water, shikanji, ORS, tea and first-aid. There will be arrangements for comfortable waiting for them outside the examination centres.

NEET candidates can travel for free in DTC buses

  • The Chief Minister also announced that on June 21, all NEET candidates will be able to travel free in DTC buses. To avail this facility, they will have to show their valid NEET admit card to the bus conductor. He said that the government is trying to ensure that students do not face any problem in traveling on the day of examination and they can reach their centers on time and take the examination with full confidence and concentration.
  • He said that the time, hard work and future of our youth are very precious. Delhi Government is committed to provide all possible help and facilities to the students during their studies and competitive examinations. When parents feel relaxed and secure, it has a positive impact on the students as well, enabling them to take exams with more confidence.
