Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva admitted to hospital, took a dip in Yamuna two days ago

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva has been admitted to the hospital. Sachdeva has been admitted to RML Hospital after complaining of itching and difficulty in breathing. Sachdeva had taken a dip in the river two days ago to highlight the alleged failure of cleaning the Yamuna.

According to PTI report, Sachdeva had reached Chhath Ghat on the banks of Yamuna on Thursday. Where, he also took a dip in Yamuna and targeted the Delhi government by accusing it of failing to fulfill its promise of cleaning the river by 2025. After taking a dip in Yamuna, I faced rashes on my body and some difficulty in breathing.

Admitted after itching and difficulty in breathing

Initially the doctors examined him and then gave him medicine for three days. Now, after complaining of itching and difficulty in breathing, he had to be admitted to RML Hospital. Delhi BJP issued a statement saying that Sachdeva had never faced any such problem before.

Environment Minister said – it will not be cleaned through drama

On the other hand, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Environment Minister in Delhi Government Gopal Rai wished Sachdeva’s speedy recovery. He said that BJP leaders should now understand that their theatrics will not clean the river.

Before taking a dip in the Yamuna, Sachdeva apologized to the Yamuna river and promised that if the BJP wins the assembly elections to be held in Delhi next year, his party will form a separate authority for the revival of the Yamuna.

After Diwali is the festival of Chhath

Cleaning of Yamuna has been a big issue in Delhi since the beginning. Opposition parties have been blaming the ruling party for this. After Diwali, there is the festival of Chhath, hence this issue has once again become heated. BJP keeps alleging that no concrete steps have been taken to clean the river.
