One accused has been arrested, and two juveniles have been apprehended in connection with a stabbing incident in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area, police said on Saturday. Two knives allegedly used in the offence have also been recovered.
According to police, a PCR call regarding the stabbing incident at L-914, Mangolpuri was received on August 21. Following the information, police personnel reached Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where 5-6 injured persons were found undergoing treatment.
Arrests and Case Details
Police said that as per the MLC reports, none of the injured persons sustained any serious injuries. A case under sections 109(1), 115(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Mangolpuri Police Station on August 22. During the investigation, accused Sumit (18), a resident of Sultanpuri, was arrested, while two Children in Conflict with the Law (CCLs) were apprehended. Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
