According to Pinkvilla’s report, Ayan and his team were actively working on Brahmastra 2‘s scripting and pre-production. Ranbir, who is deeply invested in the shoot of Ramayana: Part Two, was said to be shooting for Brahmastra‘s sequel in April 2027. Padukone had a cameo in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva as Amrita, Shiva’s mother and wife of Dev, whose identity was kept a mystery. The sequel will focus on Dev’s character build-up and how he was connected to Brahmastra.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the female protagonist of Brahmastra, is expected to have a cameo in the sequel. A source told the portal that she has to shoot for around 25 days. Alia played the role of Isha.
Who is Dev in Brahmastra 2?
According to early buzz, the role of Dev was offered to Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan. There’s no further development on the casting. Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy will reprise their roles as Guruji, the wielder of Prabhāstra, and Junoon, the antagonist. Brahmastra is a trilogy; the first part released in 2022.
