A case that shames the relationship between father and daughter has come to light in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here a father strangled his own daughter to death for just Rs 10. Not only this, the accused father burnt the daughter’s body and threw it in a half-burnt state in a field a short distance from the house. This incident took place on Wednesday in Khanpur village of Sarai Khwaja police station area. While investigating the case, the police have arrested the accused father and sent him to jail. The police is investigating the matter.
According to the police, ten-year-old Ragini Sonkar, resident of Narauli, Azamgarh, had come to the wedding ceremony organized at Nanihal in Khanpur with her father Rinku Sonkar on Wednesday. In front of all the relatives, Ragini started asking for Rs 10 from her father. Since Rinku only had money left for the return fare. Therefore, at first he tried to avoid it, but when the daughter did not agree, the accused got angry and caught hold of the daughter’s hand, took her to the adjacent shed and first strangled her to death with a shawl.

After this, the accused tried to burn the body by setting fire to the same shawl. When the body could not be completely burnt, the accused picked up the half-burnt body and threw it in an empty plot about 50 meters away. Since there was a wedding on the same day and everyone was busy, no one paid attention to the missing girl for a long time. After midnight the girl’s mother started searching for her.

And the next day, on Thursday, people from the neighborhood informed about the dead bodies lying there. The police was immediately informed about the matter. After this, the police reached the spot and investigated the matter and arrested the accused. SP Rural Shailendra Kumar Singh said that during police interrogation, the accused confessed to the incident and narrated the entire incident. After this, the police produced the accused in the court and sent him to jail.
