Kannada actor Darshan Thugudeepa, who is in jail in the Renuka Swamy murder case, has been admitted to a hospital in Kangeri, Bengaluru on Friday. He has been admitted to the hospital complaining of back pain. His wife Vijayalakshmi was also with him. The Kannada actor has got bail from the court due to medical reasons.
On October 30, the Karnataka High Court had granted interim bail to Darshan for six weeks on medical grounds. Actor Darshan and actress Pavitra Gowda were arrested on charges of kidnapping and murder of their fan Renukaswamy.

Dr. Naveen Appaji Gowda, who is treating the actor, said on Friday that the actor is complaining of pain in his back and left leg. His left leg is weak. We are thinking about what can be done next. Dr. Gowda told that Darshan will undergo MRI, X-ray and blood test. The doctor said that we have not received his earlier MRI films and test reports, so we will have to do the MRI again. After the MRI report comes, if operation is required, it will be done, otherwise physiotherapy will be done.

The actor’s lawyer had claimed that the actor was suffering from numbness in both his legs and had sought permission for surgery at a private hospital in Mysuru.
