Jayaram shared this incident during the promotion of his new film ‘Parimalam and Co’.
Jayaram told, “It happened a week ago. I had gone to watch the IPL match in Chennai. I was sitting on my seat and I saw Dhoni’s wife Sakshi coming. I quietly told my friend sitting with me that look, she is Dhoni’s wife. But actually she was coming towards me. She came running from a distance and fell at my feet. She said that she is a big fan of mine.”
Jayaram further said, “I was absolutely shocked. I thought that perhaps she touched my feet by mistake under someone else’s deception. But she knew me. She told that the nanny who took care of her daughter Ziva was a Malayali. She used to often sing my film’s song ‘Ambalappuzha Unnikannanodu Nee’ to put Ziva to sleep. Sakshi told that Ziva used to sleep listening to the same song.”
