Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer film Crew has had a good first weekend at the box office. This year, while the films of many big stars failed to earn as per expectations, the crew without any male superstar has done good business. Although the kind of collection the film had made on the first day, it seemed that the film’s earnings would increase on the second and third day, but this has not happened.

The film crew has done a business of Rs 10.25* crore on the third day i.e. Sunday. Earlier the film had got a good opening of Rs 9.25 crore. In such a situation, it was believed that the film would get the benefit of having a holiday on Saturday and Sunday, but this did not happen. There was a slight jump in the film’s earnings on both the days. The film did a business of Rs 9.75 crore on Saturday. In this way, the crew has done a business of around Rs 29.25* crore on the first weekend.

Making records worldwide

With a low budget and no male star, Crew is performing well at the box office. Apart from the domestic box office, the film is also doing strong business worldwide. The crew made a record by earning Rs 20.07 crore worldwide on the first day. In fact, Crew has become the highest grossing film on the first day among female lead films.

The crew has received good numbers from critics. The film also benefited from this at the box office. Apart from this, the film has also taken advantage of not having any competition with any new film. The crew is directed by Radesh Krishnan. Apart from Kareena, Tabu and Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and comedian Kapil Sharma are also seen in important roles in the film. The film has been jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films Communication Network.
