It is alleged that on the same night when Muzaffar Ali was sleeping, his wife Kahkansha threw acid on his face. Due to this sudden attack, Muzaffar Ali got seriously burnt and his life changed forever.

Muzaffar Ali’s face was badly burnt due to the acid attack. The most serious effect was on his eyes, due to which he lost the vision in both his eyes. The case was heard in the court of Additional District Judge (Fast Track Court) Gopal (HJS). A total of 10 hearings were held during the judicial process that lasted for more than a year. On May 27, 2026, the court had convicted accused Kahkansha under sections 352, 351(2), 124(1), 109(1) and 118(2) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). After this the decision was reserved. While delivering the final verdict on Monday, the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1.75 lakh.
