Mumbai’s Sanskriti Sharma has given 3 tips to survive in a corporate job in a viral video. According to him, take all your holidays, look busy by learning corporate language, and don’t take criticism to heart.
Surviving in the corporate world is a very difficult task. No matter how hard you try, sometimes things don’t work out. Many people believe that to survive here one has to try some tricks. A video related to this is going viral on social media, in which a girl from Mumbai is telling how to survive in the corporate world. Sanskriti Sharma has shared a video on Instagram, titled, ‘How to survive in a corporate job without losing your temper’. At the beginning of the video, Sanskriti tells that next Friday is her last working day.
These are the three methods of survival suggested by culture.
1. Take all your holidays
The first advice of culture is that paid leave given by the company should be taken without any hesitation. There is no need to feel guilty about taking leave. She says that if these holidays cannot be carried forward to the next year or money is not received in exchange for them, then they must be abolished.
2. Learn corporate language and always look busy
Another suggestion from Culture is that one should learn the corporate language before learning the job. If you don’t know about something, learn to say ‘work in progress’ or ‘let me check and get back to you’ instead of straight up saying ‘don’t know’. Also, never be seen sitting idle in the office. If this happens, more work will be put on your head.
3. Don’t take criticism to heart
Criticism is common in corporate life. To deal with this, we have to strengthen ourselves. Correct your mistakes and move on. Don’t let criticism from the office spoil your weekend.
Many people have commented agreeing with the points of culture. Some people also wrote that they should have seen this video first.
