The politics of Maharashtra seems to be heating up again. A mutual tussle has started between the two Deputy Chief Ministers of the state regarding Nawab Malik. A dispute is arising between the two regarding the entry of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik in the ruling coalition Grand Alliance. On this issue, BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has written a letter to NCP leader Ajit Pawar, strongly opposing the attempt to include Nawab Malik in the alliance.

Regarding the rumor of Nawab Malik’s inclusion in the alliance, Devendra Fadnavis wrote a letter to NCP leader Ajit Pawar saying that Nawab Malik must participate in the proceedings of the Assembly because he is a member of the House. I have already said that I have no personal enmity against him, but given the kind of allegations against him, taking him into the alliance would not be acceptable in any way.

Nawab Malik was sitting with the ruling coalition

This matter started when Nawab Malik was seen sitting with the MLAs of the ruling alliance in the winter session of the Assembly, after which the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and veteran BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis wrote a letter to the second Deputy CM of the state Ajit Pawar and Nawab. Expressed his displeasure about Malik. In this letter, Fadnavis has written that power comes and goes, but the country is important. I have no personal enmity with Nawab Malik, but taking him into the Grand Alliance will not be acceptable.

In his letter, Fadnavis also said that Nawab Malik has got bail only on medical grounds. Whereas there are serious allegations against him of having links with traitors. Once he is freed from such charges then he will be welcomed into the Mahayuti.

Clarification given by Ajit group

Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis also wrote, “Well, it is your decision as to who to take or not to take into the party. But as of now, it will not be acceptable for Nawab Malik to be a part of the Grand Alliance, hence care should be taken that any such decision does not harm the Grand Alliance.” He also said that even after being accused of having links with traitors, the previous government (Maha Vikas Aghadi) had not removed him from the post of minister. Even then we did not agree with this, so please take care of our feelings.”

After he was released on bail on medical grounds, we met to inquire about his health. During this period we did not have any political discussion with him. Being an old friend, it is natural to meet and communicate with him.” After the tweet of Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis, this clarification has been given by Ajit Pawar group regarding Nawab Malik. Ajit Pawar has also reposted this tweet.
