Encounter is going on between security personnel and terrorists at two places in Kashmir division. In this, two terrorists have been killed by the security forces, while four security personnel have been injured. Encounter is going on in Khanyar since early morning in Srinagar district of Kashmir division. According to sources, there is a possibility of 1-2 militants hiding in this encounter. Srinagar Khanyar is a residential area, hence security forces are trying to reduce collateral damage, as a result of which the operation is taking time.
The second encounter was seen in Larnu in Anantnag district of South Kashmir, in which the Army has confirmed the killing of two terrorists.
A large-scale search operation is being conducted in Bandipora after the incident of firing on an army vehicle in Budgam district of central Kashmir on Friday evening.
4 security personnel injured in encounter
At the same time, terrorists attacked and injured two migrant laborers last night in Magam of Budgam district of Central Kashmir, as a result of which a search operation is being conducted to find the attackers.
4 security personnel have been injured in the encounter going on since morning in Srinagar, which includes 2 soldiers from Jammu and Kashmir Police Special Operation Group and 2 from CRPF Quick Action Team. Encounter is going on in Srinagar for about 7 hours.
