Exit poll surveys have come out after the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. PolStrat’s exit poll survey has revealed that the election here is going to be thorny. According to the survey, Congress seems to be getting absolute majority in the elections but BJP’s performance here is also not bad and it seems to be getting more than 100 seats in its account. The special thing is that here the favorite party of male voters was Congress while women voted in favor of BJP.
It was also revealed in the exit poll survey that to which party the votes of the youth went. Voters below 23 years of age have expressed more trust in Congress than in BJP. 45 percent voters of this age group have voted for Congress and 42 percent votes have gone to BJP. Others got 13 percent votes. If we look at the youth voters, 46 percent of the voters aged between 23 to 35 years voted for Congress while 43 percent votes went to BJP.
Middle aged voters with BJP
Voters in the age group of 36 to 45 years voted almost equally for Congress and BJP. 46 percent voters voted for Congress and 45 percent voters voted for BJP. Middle-aged voters expressed more trust in BJP than Congress. Among the voters aged between 46 to 55 years, 47 percent voted for BJP while 43 percent voted in favor of Congress. In the survey, BJP is expected to get 106 to 116 seats while Congress may get 111 to 121 seats.
If we look at the voters of Muslim community, 61 percent votes are seen coming to the account of Congress, while 18 percent votes are coming to the account of BJP. Apart from this, if seen on caste basis, Congress has got 50 percent votes of SC voters, while 49 percent votes of ST voters have also gone to Congress’ account. Whereas BJP got 49 percent votes of upper castes and 44 percent votes of OBCs.

Counting of votes will take place on December 3
According to PolStrat’s exit poll survey in the elections conducted for 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh, Congress is seen getting 45.6 percent votes while BJP got 43.3 percent votes. Others have got a little more than 11 percent votes. Like Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, counting of votes will be done here also on December 3.
