On Sunday morning, police raided a rave party in Thane, Maharashtra and detained more than 90 people. An officer gave this information. The officer said that the officers of Wagle Estate-5 and Bhiwandi-2 units of the crime branch raided the rave party being organized in an open space in a remote area near Vadavali Creek at around 3 am.
Crime branch said that the party was organized through codeword. People had to be invited through Instagram. Rave party was the codeword on Instagram itself. This codeword was cracked and raided.

Different drugs were being sold
According to the information, an entry fee of Rs 2,000 was collected from everyone attending this party. There were many counters at the party venue. Different drugs were being sold at every counter. For example, be it MD, ASD, Ecstasy pill, cocaine, hashish, ganja or any other drugs, everyone had separate counters. Apart from this, there was a separate counter for liquor and beer. 95 people who were involved in the party will be medically examined and counselled.
Most people working in the corporate sector
Most of these people are working in the corporate sector and are college students. Everyone’s profiles are being checked. TV9 Bharatvarsh team reached the spot where the raid took place. Here the counters were seen on which drugs were being sold. Liquor, beer bottles and many other intoxicating materials were scattered.
Two organizers of rave party arrested
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shivraj Patil said that at least 95 people, including five women, were found having a rave party, who have been taken into custody. He said that the police have arrested the organizers of the rave party, Tejas Kubal (23) and Sujal Mahajan (19).

The officer said that the police also seized 70 grams of charas, 0.41 grams of LSD, 2.10 grams of ecstasy pills, 200 grams of ganja and liquor along with 21 motorcycles from the party venue. He said that a case has been registered against the accused under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and NDPS Act and so far only two people have been arrested.
