Cockroach Found in Lounge Food Ranchi Airport: A picture of the AIRR lounge of Ranchi Airport has created a stir on social media. Businessman and traveler Suresh Poddar has claimed in his Facebook post that cockroach was found in the food served in the lounge of Ranchi Airport. In the pictures shared with the post, a cockroach is clearly visible in the plate of rice, after which serious questions have started being raised on the catering system and cleanliness of the airport. In the photo shared by Suresh Poddar, the food plate in which cockroaches have been complained can be clearly seen in the lounge of Ranchi Airport. The name of the passenger in the complaint form is Apoorva Poddar. Calling it “Very Much Disappointing”, the passenger registered his displeasure by filling the feedback form on the spot. In the viral pictures, it can be seen that rice, pulses and vegetables were served in the plate, but a cockroach was lying among the rice. See photo and video below-
Complaint lodged in feedback form also
In the feedback form shared in the post, Apoorva Poddar has clearly expressed her displeasure regarding the quality and cleanliness of the food. He wrote that such negligence cannot be acceptable at a sensitive and prestigious place like the airport. The lounge staff is also visible in the pictures, from which it is being estimated that the complaint was made on the spot itself. However, till now no official statement has come from the airport management or lounge operator on this matter.
People’s anger erupted on social media
As soon as this post went viral on social media, people surrounded the airport administration and lounge management. Many users said that if this is the condition of food in a lounge that charges heavy fees from passengers, then what will happen to the safety of common passengers. People have demanded an investigation into the matter from the airport authority and action against the responsible agency. Now it has to be seen what action the Ranchi airport administration takes on this serious matter and how to restore the trust of the passengers.
