He said that those who are talking about Lord Ram and faith today, it was during their reign that an attempt was made to offer Namaz on the stairs of Hanumangarhi. Yogi Adityanath raised the question whether Hanuman Chalisa can be recited inside a mosque, then why was such an attempt made in Hanumangarhi?
Referring to the development of Ayodhya, he said that Samajwadi Party leaders once used to make fun of the construction of an international airport here. Today there is an international airport in Ayodhya and it has been named after Maharishi Valmiki. He claimed that the BJP government fulfilled the age-old demand of Ram temple, while the Congress and Samajwadi Party have been raising questions on the existence of Lord Ram.
Questions asked to opposition on Waqf and Ram temple offering controversy
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also cornered Congress and Samajwadi Party on the issue of Waqf properties. He said that the opposition is making fun of Hindu faith over the Ram temple offering controversy, but has it ever raised its voice on the issue of thousands of hectares of land allegedly sold in the name of Waqf? He said that such land could have been used for the welfare of the poor and weaker sections.
