CM Vishnu Deo Sai: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai worshiped Lord Shiva at Bhoramdev temple. Also gave important message regarding Shravan month, Kanwar Yatra and happiness and prosperity of Chhattisgarh.
Bhoramdev Temple: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today reached the world famous and historical Bhoramdev Temple along with his wife Mrs. Kaushalya Sai. Here he had darshan of Lord Bholenath and worshiped with full rituals. After this, he circumambulated the temple and wished for happiness, peace, prosperity and public welfare of all the citizens of the state.
Maha Chatur Shuddhi Sahasra Kalasham participated in the great ritual.
The Chief Minister also participated in the five-day Maha Chatur Shuddhi Sahasra Kalasham Mahanusthan organized in the temple premises. Participating in religious rituals amid Vedic chanting, he prayed for Chhattisgarh’s progress, social harmony, public welfare and a better future for all the people.
Bhoramdev our cultural and spiritual heritage
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Bhoramdev Temple is a proud symbol of Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, eternal tradition and spiritual consciousness. He said that such great rituals are an important medium to transmit our ancient Vedic traditions to the new generation. Besides, they also strengthen the feeling of positive energy, mutual harmony and public welfare in the society.
Chief Minister’s message regarding Shravan month and Kanwar Yatra
The Chief Minister said that the holy Shravan month of worship of Lord Shiva is going to start from July 30. He told that for the last two years, he along with Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma has been welcoming the Kanwar pilgrims coming to Bhoramdev Dham by showering flowers. He said that Kanwar Yatra is a symbol of the living tradition of Indian culture and faith. This year too, he himself will reach Bhoramdev Dham and greet the devotees with shower of flowers.

Purpose and organization of the great ritual
It is noteworthy that this five-day grand ritual is being organized from July 25 under the aegis of Shri Mahadivya Desam Foundation. Its objective is to strengthen the feeling of happiness, prosperity and spiritual well-being in entire Chhattisgarh including Kabirdham. According to Rajeev Rakul Swamy (Kerala), head of the foundation, the event is based on the ancient Vedic tradition of purification of sacred temples and recirculation of divine energy. It is being performed as per the rituals described in Lord Parshuram Storatam and Agama Shastras.

Presence of public representatives and devotees
On this occasion, MLA Pandaria Mrs. Bhavna Bohra, other public representatives, administrative officers, Vedic Acharya and a large number of devotees were present.
