Ambedkar jayanti 2026: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai sat with the common people and served food at the Samrasata banquet organized on Ambedkar Jayanti in Raipur. Know how the message of Constitution, equality and social harmony was given through this event.
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti in Raipur, a scene was seen which gave not just a program but a strong social message. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached among the common people at the Samrasata Banquet organized at Durga Maidan in Shankarnagar of the capital, sat with them and had food on the ground and served the food with his own hands. This event was organized on the occasion of 135th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, the objective of which was to strengthen equality and brotherhood in the society.
“Constitution is our strength” CM Sai
Addressing the program, the Chief Minister clearly said that the Constitution is not just a book, but the foundation of respect and rights of every citizen of the country. He said that India is the largest democracy in the world and the biggest reason for its strength is its Constitution, which was prepared by Baba Saheb Ambedkar.

Big social message given through Samrasata Banquet
The most special thing about this program was that the Chief Minister, moving away from the VIP culture, sat and ate food with the common people. While serving food to the people, he himself tried to give the message that everyone is equal in the society and there should not be any kind of discrimination.

Referring to the life of Baba Saheb Ambedkar in his address, Chief Minister Sai said that he did not give up even in difficult circumstances and created history on his own. He dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of the weak, deprived and exploited sections of the society.
Focus remained on women education also
CM Sai said that Baba Saheb also did important work for the education and respect of women. He also said that Baba Saheb carried forward the campaign of social reform and women’s education started by Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule.
Getting respect through ‘Panch Teerth’
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, five major places associated with Baba Saheb are being developed as ‘Panch Teerth’, so that the coming generations can understand his contribution.

On this occasion, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, MLA Kiran Singh Dev, Purandar Mishra and many public representatives and a large number of common citizens were present.
