Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1835 crore to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore women under Ladli Brahmin Yojana and announced several major development works in Bhind.

Bhopal/Bhind. July 12 was a special day for the dear sisters of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of Rs 1835 crore to the bank accounts of more than 1 crore 25 lakh women of the state through a single click under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana in a state level program organized from Lahar in Bhind district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also gave a big gift of development to Bhind district. He performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 56 development works costing Rs 322.29 crore.

The Chief Minister announced that Bhind district will get four Sandipani Vidyalayas on the occasion of Guru Purnima. Along with this, PG courses will also be started in the Government College of Lahar.

Mentioned the historical and religious heritage of Bhind

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in his address that Bhind is the sacred land where Pandavas had saved their lives after the Lakshagriha incident during the Mahabharata period. Paying tribute to the land of Bhind, he described the people here as courageous and fighting. He said that Lord Hanuman’s special blessings are on Bhind. From Ramayana to Mahabharata, Lord Hanuman has been the symbol of protection of religion and even today he is working to show the right path to the people.

Targeted at Congress, made allegations on religious issues

The Chief Minister said that Congress faces problems when the government talks on religious and cultural issues. He alleged that Congress looks at every issue by linking it with vote bank politics. He said that Indian culture has respected various traditions and all devotees, but Congress has been continuously trying to defame Hindu religion.

Sharp attack on Congress regarding Ladli Brahmin scheme

Referring to the statement of Congress State President Jitu Patwari, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that such comments on Ladli Brahmin Yojana are an insult to the women of the state. He said that such comments related to respect for mothers and sisters are not in accordance with Indian culture.

The Chief Minister said that the Congress government did not provide such financial assistance to women during its tenure. He told that the scheme started with Rs 1000 per month, which has been increased to Rs 1500 per month. Till now, under this scheme, an amount of more than Rs 51 thousand crore has been sent to the accounts of women.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s emphasis on the economic role of women

The Chief Minister said that people who have not seen poverty and struggle cannot understand the importance of economic assistance. He said that the role of women in the family is most important and even the smallest financial assistance becomes a big relief for the family. Describing mothers and sisters as the strength of the family, he said that they are the cornerstone of the home and they play an important role in the development of the society. He assured that the government will continue to take decisions in the interest of women in future also.

Big things said on women’s reservation and uniform civil code

Referring to the opposition’s stand during the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha, the Chief Minister accused the Congress of ignoring the interests of women. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous work is being done to give rights and respect to women.

He said that Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will soon be implemented in Madhya Pradesh. According to him, this law will give equal rights to all citizens. He said that the state government committee received more than 10 lakh suggestions, in which Muslim women also gave their opinion supporting this law.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decision to abolish the triple talaq law.

Government schemes on farmers, cow shelters and employment

The Chief Minister said that the state government is giving priority to the interests of farmers. He said that the government is continuously purchasing grains from farmers at support price and currently wheat is being purchased at the rate of Rs 2625 per quintal. He said that the government will support those running cow sheds and work is being done to make the state the leading state in the country in milk production.

Mention of investment in government bus service, industry and defense sector

The Chief Minister said that the state government will restart the government bus services which were stopped during the Congress rule this month. He said that new industrial investments worth about Rs 2000 crore are being made in Guna and about Rs 2500 crore in Shivpuri. He also mentioned the industries related to defense production and said that this will boost both employment and development in the state.

Government’s focus on unemployment, religious tourism and cultural development

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is among those states in the country where the unemployment rate is lowest. He said that the government will develop Vrindavan Village and Geeta Bhawan in the state. Besides, work is also being done on a plan to develop major places associated with Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna as religious tourism centres.
