According to tradition, after the death of former Mewar royal family member and former MP Mahendra Singh Mewar, the coronation ceremony of his elder son Vishwaraj Singh Mewar took place on 25 November in the Chittor Fort. After coronation, Vishvaraj Singh wanted to visit Dhuni situated in the City Palace of Mewar, Udaipur, but he was not allowed to do so. In such a situation, when Vishvaraj Singh’s supporters came to know about this, they started protesting outside the palace and within no time it turned into a big ruckus, after which the police were called.

According to tradition in Mewar, Dhuni is visited after the new Diwan ascends the throne. However, the new Diwan was not allowed to do so, which is why there was an uproar. In such a situation, the administration will take over the place located in Dhuni in City Palace. The administration had taken attachment action last night. After that a receiver was appointed.

Vishwaraj Singh will not be able to visit

The administration will enter the City Palace after some time with heavy police presence. In such a situation, Vishvaraj Singh will not be able to see Dhuni today. As a precautionary measure, barricades were deployed and heavy police force was deployed. Besides, restrictions have also been imposed on the entry of outsiders. Vishvaraj Singh was not allowed to enter the City Palace by his uncle Arvind Singh Mewar. Arvind Singh says that Vishvaraj Singh is not a member of Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust, due to which he cannot go inside the palace.

City Palace is in the possession of Arvind Singh Mewar. Arvind Singh is the chairman of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation Trust. Only after the announcement of the coronation program, Arvind Singh had made this announcement by publishing a public notice.
