ACitizen Lounge-cum-New Age Learning Center was inaugurated at the New Delhi Magistrate Office as part of efforts to improve the delivery of government services and create additional learning opportunities for residents.
According to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the facility includes seating arrangements, an air-conditioned environment, and a reading corner designed to make visits to government offices more convenient for citizens.
The center is also expected to serve as a learning and guidance platform for young people. Plans include the introduction of computer facilities, career counseling sessions, skill development programmes, expert lectures, and guidance workshops.
Gupta said the initiative is aimed at combining citizen service facilities with educational and skill-building resources, allowing the center to function as both a public service space and a community learning hub.
