CM Mohan Yadav Unveils Major Infrastructure Projects: Which development projects did Chief Minister Mohan Yadav perform Bhoomi Pujan in Indore? June 19 was a special day in terms of development for Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the proposed road and sewer line project from Tulsi Nagar Pulia to Nipaniya in Assembly Constituency No. 5 through remote. A total of around Rs 16 crore will be spent on this project.

Under the project, roads will be constructed at a cost of Rs 13.62 crore and primary and internal sewer lines will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.64 crore. In the program, the Chief Minister said that Indore has created its own identity in the country in the field of cleanliness, housing and public welfare schemes and this pace of development will continue in future also.

1.30 kilometer long new road will be built

The bhoomi-pujan road will be approximately 1.30 kilometers long and 30 meters wide. The project includes works like cement concrete road, footpath construction, strengthening of sewer chambers and power line shifting. With the construction of this road, traffic will be easier in the surrounding areas including Tulsi Nagar, Nipania, Ankur Angan, Rajaram Avenue and Mahalaxmi Nagar. Also, traffic pressure is expected to be reduced and better connectivity will be available.

New projects also announced

The Chief Minister also announced several new development schemes during the program. He announced the construction of about 1400 meter long link road from Kanadia Road to Khajrana Road. Apart from this, it was also announced to build a 6-lane flyover from Eastern Ring Road to Robot intersection, the estimated cost of which is said to be around Rs 50 crore. He also said that the state government will make concrete efforts towards legalizing illegal colonies, so that people can get better benefits of basic facilities.

Emphasis on public welfare along with development

In the programme, the Chief Minister also distributed symbolic checks to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Referring to National Sickle Cell Day, he appealed to the people to be aware about this disease and called timely testing and treatment as necessary. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has established new dimensions of development and the Madhya Pradesh government is also continuously working in the fields of education, health, infrastructure and employment. These projects started in Indore will not only improve the traffic system of the city, but will also give a new direction to urban development keeping in mind the future needs.
