Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav left the government vehicle and security convoy for the cabinet meeting and reached Jagdishpur by e-bus. Ministers and senior officials also traveled en masse by electric bus.
Before the cabinet meeting in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav tried to give a different message. He did not use his government vehicle and security convoy, but reached Jagdishpur by electric bus with the entire cabinet. The government says that this initiative was taken with the aim of saving fuel, economical use of government resources and promoting the spirit of good governance.
Chief Minister and Minister arrived by e-bus, also left private vehicles
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav left for Jagdishpur along with cabinet members in three electric buses from the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. During this time, the Chief Minister left his official vehicle and security convoy at the Chief Minister’s residence. All the ministers and their staff reached the Chief Minister’s residence at 10 am, from where they collectively left for the meeting venue in e-buses. The ministers’ personal vehicles, pilot and follow vehicles were also not used.

Senior officials also reached the meeting venue by e-bus
Senior officials attending the cabinet meeting also parked their vehicles at Kushabhau Thackeray complex and from there reached Jagdishpur en masse through electric buses. According to the government, this initiative is part of its vision to give priority to simplicity in governance, judicious use of resources and economy in expenditure. This step is also being linked to the message of environmental protection and fuel saving.
Welcome on the way, heritage exhibition inaugurated
There was curiosity among the people in the capital Bhopal regarding the e-bus journey of the Chief Minister. At many places, e-buses were welcomed by showering flowers on them. On reaching Jagdishpur, MLA Vishnu Khatri welcomed the Chief Minister with Angavastra and Tilak. After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated and visited the heritage exhibition organized at Jagdishpur Fort. In the exhibition, pictures of tribal heroes of the state, historical personalities associated with good governance and bravery were displayed. During this period, the Chief Minister also interacted with tribal artists and appreciated their art.
