Chhindwara Road Accident: A pickup and a truck collided in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Six laborers lost their lives and 20 others were injured in the accident.

Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh): A painful road accident took place in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Here a pickup vehicle loaded with laborers collided with a truck, in which 6 people died and 20 were injured. According to officials, the accident happened near Temani Khurd village on Betul-Chhindwara highway at around 10 am today. As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and the injured were immediately taken to the district hospital.

Dr. Sushil Dubey, Civil Surgeon, Chhindwara District Hospital, said, “As soon as we received information about the accident that took place near Temni Khurd village around 10 am today, we immediately made all the arrangements in the district hospital. Till now, 20 patients have been brought here, who are undergoing treatment. The condition of one of them is critical, who has been referred to Nagpur Medical College. Apart from this, 6 people have died in the accident, which includes four women and two men. Are.”

All those who died in the accident were from one village.

The civil surgeon further said that the deceased have been identified as Babbu Rajbaitha (35), Santosh Savnare (45), Savitri Banke (31), Shivakali (45), Lilavati Sheelu (45) and Shakravarthi Sheelu (45). All of them were residents of Machhera village of the district. All the injured patients are undergoing treatment at Chhindwara District Hospital and police and administration officials are present in the hospital.

“A team of 20-25 doctors is busy treating patients at Chhindwara District Hospital. Currently, 10 patients are admitted in the women’s surgical ward, three in the surgical ICU, four in the orthopedics and three in the general ward. One of them has a crush injury.”
