Under the Rehabilitation Policy-2025 of Chhattisgarh, Deva Mandavi, a member of a Naxal victim family of Dantewada, got a government job. He has been appointed to the post of clerk in the collector’s office.
Raipur. “Chhattisgarh Naxalite Surrender/Victim Relief and Rehabilitation Policy-2025” implemented by the state government under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is emerging as a new hope for the Naxalite affected families. Under this policy, Deva Mandavi, resident of Dantewada district, has been given appointment in government service. This step is being considered important towards providing a dignified life and permanent employment to the families affected by Naxal violence.
Naxal victim Deva Mandavi gets government job in collector’s office
Deva Mandavi is a resident of village Dhurwapara, Aranpur (development block Kuakonda) of Dantewada district. His father, late Budhra Mandavi, was influenced by Naxal violence. After the recommendation of the District Level Rehabilitation Committee and the approval of Dantewada Collector, he has been appointed to the post of Servant (Class IV) in Collector Office (Land Records Branch), District South Bastar Dantewada. He will soon assume charge of his new responsibilities.
Appointment received under Rehabilitation Policy-2025, benefit of Seventh Pay Commission will also be available.
This appointment has been made as per the provisions of the notification issued by the Home (C-Section) Department on March 28, 2025. With the appointment, Deva Mandavi will get pay matrix level-01 under the Seventh Pay Commission. Apart from this, they will also be given the benefit of dearness allowance and all other facilities available as per the rules of the state government.
