Many projects started in Jhonka village from community building to pond development.

During the program organized in village Jhonka, Minister Shri Verma performed the bhumi pujan of many important development works including Mahamaya Temple Community Building, Kesh Dabri entrance gate, Pachari construction in ponds, Mahtari Sadan, Muktidham shed, pond deepening and theater building. Apart from this, he inaugurated the new community building built in Kurmi Para and dedicated it to the villagers.

Addressing the program, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma said that Chhattisgarh government is continuously doing development work while giving priority to the interests of villages, poor and farmers. Announcement of new development schemes worth more than Rs 27 lakh on the demand of villagers

Keeping in view the demand of the villagers and the needs of the area, Minister Shri Verma announced many new schemes. He announced the approval of Rs 2 lakh for construction of accessible toilet in primary school, Rs 10 lakh for deepening of Chhapar pond, Rs 7 lakh for construction of shed in Muktidham, Rs 3 lakh for construction of palisade in ponds and Rs 5 lakh for construction of community hall and Jyoti room.

Mahila Mandals will also get assistance to promote women empowerment

The Revenue Minister also announced financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to Jagriti Mahila Mandal with the aim of encouraging women empowerment. He said that the idea of ​​rural development is incomplete without the participation of women and the government is making continuous efforts to make them self-reliant.
