CG Health Mission: Will the lives of villagers in remote villages of Bastar change now? Has Chief Minister Swasth Bastar Abhiyan become a new hope for the villagers? This initiative of Badepalli village of Dantewada is in discussion.
Raipur. Under the Chhattisgarh Government’s ‘Mukhyamantri Swasth Bastar Abhiyan’, health services are continuously being provided to the remote and inaccessible areas of Dantewada district. On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the team of the Health Department covered a difficult 13 kilometer hilly path on foot to reach the remote village Badepalli of Bailadila area and provided health facilities to the villagers.

Health checkup of a total of 227 villagers was done in the special health camp organized in Badepalli village. During the camp, many important health tests including malaria, sickle cell, hemoglobin, blood sugar, diabetes and blood pressure were conducted. After investigation, free medicines were also distributed to the needy patients.
Special health checkup of pregnant women and children
Pregnant women and children were specially examined in the health camp. During investigation, when a high risk pregnant woman was identified, she was referred to the district hospital for better treatment and safe delivery. Apart from this, 12 patients suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes were sent to a higher health center for further treatment.
Emphasis given on Ayushman Bharat scheme and health awareness
During the camp, villagers were also given information about Ayushman Bharat Scheme. People were also made aware about safe motherhood, nutritious diet, cleanliness and regular health checkups. The health department team also explained to the villagers about the importance of prevention and timely treatment of diseases.
Remote areas are getting relief from Chief Minister Swasth Bastar Abhiyan
According to Health Department officials, through the Chief Minister Swasth Bastar Abhiyan, people living in remote rural areas are now getting health services close to home. This campaign is not limited to treatment only, but is also working to increase health awareness among the villagers and strengthen trust in government health services.
