Raipur. Nano Urea and Nano DAP (Liquid Fertilizer) have emerged as an important innovation of modern technology in the agriculture sector. These are used in much smaller quantities than conventional granular urea and DAP, but their effectiveness is higher. These nanotechnology based fertilizers are prepared from very small particles (20 to 50 nanometers), which reach the plant cells directly and provide essential nutrients. This improves the growth of the crop and increases production.

Keeping in mind the upcoming Kharif season, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the district administration has made extensive preparations for the convenience of the farmers. Adequate storage of fertilizers and improved varieties of seeds has been made in various cooperative societies of the district. Due to this, essential agricultural materials are being available to the farmers on time and they are not facing any kind of problem. Farmers are easily getting fertilizers and seeds as per their needs.
Modern Farming Success Story: Farmer Chhedilal is moving ahead by adopting modern technology.
Farmer Mr. Chhedilal Oraon, resident of village Dhelwadih of Korba district, is achieving better results in farming by taking advantage of modern agricultural techniques. He has obtained fertilizers and seeds for the upcoming Kharif crop from the cooperative society located in Sonpuri development block.
Shri Oraon’s family, who cultivates about five acres of agricultural land, is completely dependent on agriculture. The main livelihood of this family of six to seven members is paddy farming. He informed that the required urea and DAP fertilizers have been procured for this season. Besides, with the aim of increasing the fertility of the land, he will also sow Dhaincha and Moong as green manure in one acre of his land.
Nano DAP and Nano Urea Benefits: Better results at lower cost
Shri Oraon, while sharing his positive experience from the use of Nano Urea and Nano DAP, said that he had got significant benefits from their use last year. According to him, Nano DAP ensures quick and effective supply of nutrients to the plants, thereby improving crop growth.
He said that the use of these fertilizers helps in maintaining the quality and fertility of the soil. It also strengthens sustainable agricultural systems while promoting environmental protection. With the use of nano fertilizers, the cost of farming is controlled and production efficiency also improves.

Nano fertilizers are considered more convenient and economical as compared to traditional fertilizers. Their small bottles are easier to transport and use compared to heavy bagged fertilizers. Apart from this, problems like gaseous emissions and leaching are also reduced to a great extent, which helps in controlling land, water and air pollution.
