Charges have been framed against former Samajwadi Party leader Nawab Singh Yadav, accused of raping a minor. Their problems are continuously increasing. There will be a trial in the POCSO court on all the charges leveled against him by the police. However, Nawab Singh Yadav’s lawyers had raised objections on many sections, which have been rejected by the court.
Regarding the case, government advocate Naveen Dubey has said that the court has also framed charges against the victim’s aunt and co-accused Neelu Yadav. The court will hear the allegations made by the police. The trial in this case will start from November 12.
What were the allegations against Nawab Singh?
Police had said that former socialist leader Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested for attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl. Giving information about the case, Kannauj Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Kumar Anand had said that at around 1.30 in the night, a call was received on UP 112 in which a girl said that her clothes had been removed and an attempt was made to assault her. Kannauj police immediately reached the spot. The girl was rescued and the accused Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested in a compromising position.
However, Nawab Singh Yadav had said regarding the matter that this is a conspiracy of the capitalists. The victim is denying this, but despite this the medical test is being conducted six times. We will continue the fight against injustice. At the same time, in an official statement, SP had distanced itself from Dimple Yadav’s former close aide Nawab Singh after his arrest in the rape case. In the letter, District President Kaleem Khan had said on August 12 that Nawab Singh Yadav is not an active member of the party.

Nawab Singh Yadav has been said to be a trusted aide of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. He has also worked as the representative of Dimple Yadav. When Akhilesh was the CM of UP, Nawab was reportedly called “mini chief minister”. Kannauj Lok Sabha constituency has been a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party (SP) since 1998. Nawab Singh Yadav used to speak in the SP government and has created immense wealth worth crores of rupees, which includes luxurious hotels, degree colleges, kilns and many other properties.
