In the ‘Mukhi Samvad’ program in Raipur, Governor Ramen Deka described the Sindhi community as an example of self-respect and entrepreneurship. Representatives of 128 Sindhi Panchayats united on one platform and took a pledge to preserve culture.

Despite suffering the pain of partition of the country, Governor Ramen Deka openly praised the Sindhi community which created a new identity with its hard work and determination. In the ‘Mukhi Samvad’ program organized in Raipur, he said that the Sindhi community is not only a symbol of self-reliance but is also a community that makes an important contribution in nation building. In the program, representatives of 128 Sindhi Panchayats from across the state united on one platform.

The pain of displacement turned into strength

The Governor said that the Sindhi community had lost its motherland, property and cultural heritage during partition, but it did not give up. Even in difficult circumstances, the society created its own identity in the fields of business, industry, education and social service. He said that the struggle of Sindhi community is still an inspiration for the new generation.

Unity of 128 Panchayats became an example

The Governor described the presence of representatives of 128 Panchayats from across the state in this program organized by the respected Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat as a symbol of the organizational strength of the society. He said that Panchayats are the backbone of any society and play an important role in carrying forward progressive thinking along with social harmony.

Appeal to connect the young generation with culture

Ramen Deka called upon the society to make collective efforts for the preservation of Sindhi language, culture and traditions. He said that it is the need of the hour to connect children and youth with their cultural roots. Besides, emphasis was also laid on empowering women through women’s wing. At the end of the program, the Governor congratulated the respected Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat for successfully organizing the event.
