The murder of Chief Engineer SN Mishra in Prayagraj, the headquarters of Central Air Command, Air Force in Uttar Pradesh, has raised questions on the security system. Despite this, the accused not only entered the officer’s resident with Ashala, but also came out safely after killing Commander Work Engineer SN Mishra. The accused himself has answered the questions raised after the incident.

In police interrogation, accused Saurabh Passi told that till a year ago he himself used to work on contract in the Air Force premises. During this time, he has also gone to SN Mishra’s house on the pretext of reaching the wooden temple. The accused said that SN Mishra’s house is just 10-15 meters from the boundary of the Air Force Complex. At 2.30 pm on March 28, he came to the main gate of the Central Air Command. Then to enter inside, a place which was not in CCTV’s JD, about 150 meters from the main gate.

11 feet high boundary and current wires fence

Since the boundary wall is more than 9 feet high and it has a current wires with up to 2 feet. In such a situation, he climbed a tree adjacent to the boundary and reached SN Mishra’s lawn with a rope. After reaching here, he first cut the attack of CCTV and then tried to go inside the window from the backyard of the house. So the window opened and SN Mishra was standing in front. Seeing them, he fired in panic. Actually SN Mishra used to recognize him, so he was afraid of being caught. The accused said that after the incident, he also came out this path.

Mother had given tips

The accused told in the police interrogation that his mother used to work in cooking in SN Mishra’s neighborhood. Apart from this, she used to do makeup of wives of officers here. Before the younger Holi, she also went to make up the makeup of Vatsala, wife of the Chief Engineer. During this time, he came to know that he has kept 10 lakh rupees in his house. After coming home, the accused’s mother Sunita told her husband and son. After this, the accused Saurabh made a plan for theft in his house. The accused knew that SN Mishra was going to go to his village Bihar on Holi. For some reason, he canceled his plan.

CCTV accused identified

According to DCP Abhishek Bharti, the accused has been seen in a CCTV camera near SN Mishra’s house. However, he is covering his face in this. The police have identified the accused by showing this footage around. The police have also recovered the indigenous pistol and a portable gas cutter from the accused.
