Following her post on X, Indian Railways acknowledged the incident and registered her complaint. While travelling on the Vivek Express between Bolpur Junction and Dankuni, content creator Rupali Dixit shared how she encountered a man making obscene gestures at her. Since then, the video has gone viral, and Indian Railways has confirmed that her complaint has been filed. According to Dixit, who posted the footage on X, the man continuously made unwanted sexual advances toward her as they were travelling. In one of the videos, the man is seen staring at her and making lewd gestures, and in another snapshot that Dixit posted, it was shown that her train had left Bolpur Junction and was on its way to Dankuni.
Describing the incident, she wrote, “Today I was travelling in Vivek Express when I stood at the coach door, this guy behaved badly and gave me signs.” According to her post, the man was travelling in the second general coach of the 15228 SMVT Express, close to the engine, and was expected to reach Dankuni Junction.

Responding to the viral post, Railways acknowledged the complaint and confirmed that it had been escalated through its grievance redressal platform.
“Your complaint has been registered on RailMadad and complaint no. has been sent through SMS on your mobile no,” the official handle replied.
