Congress has announced five guarantees for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Among the 5 guarantees of Congress, provision has been made for monthly rate of Rs 3000 for women and free bus travel for women and girls under Mahalaxmi Yojana.
Along with this, loan waiver of up to Rs 3 lakh and incentive amount of Rs 50 thousand for regular loan repayment has been promised to the farmers.
It has been said in the announcement that caste-free census will be conducted and efforts will be made to remove the limit of 50 percent reservation. Health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh and free medicines will be given. Unemployed youth will be given assistance of up to Rs 4000 per month.
