Police have arrested a girl from West Bengal, a customer and hotel staff while uncovering a big prostitution racket in a hotel located in Subhash Chowk of Nagar police station area. According to the police, women were being called from outside and subjected to illegal prostitution in the hotel without proper register maintenance. During the raid, a young woman was caught in a compromising position with a customer, after which the layers of the entire network began to unravel.
Major police raid in Hotel Ganpati
Begusarai Police had received secret information that illegal activities were being conducted by calling high-profile call girls at Hotel Ganpati located in Subhash Chowk of the city. Based on the information, the hotel was raided with women police and heavy police force under the leadership of Sadar SDO Anil Kumar and DSP Anand Kumar Pandey. During the search of about 20 rooms, a 25-year-old woman from West Bengal was caught in a compromising position with a customer named Vicky Kumar, a resident of Patna.

Hotel manager and customer also arrested
Police have also arrested hotel staff Sona Kumar in this case. It is alleged that the hotel management was knowingly cooperating in running this illegal business. Many discrepancies were also found in the hotel register, which strengthened the police’s suspicion that this was not a one-day incident, but part of an organized network.
Two marriages, one child and then steps towards crime.
The story told by the woman during interrogation exposed the dangers hidden behind the glamor of modern life. The woman told the police that her first marriage took place about 7 years ago in Barasat, West Bengal. He also had a son there. But due to his expensive hobbies not being fulfilled, he left his first house. About two years ago, she met Patna resident Rahul at a wedding ceremony. A relationship developed between the two and she came to Patna with Rahul along with her son, where both of them got married in a temple.
14 thousand jobs and increasingly expensive hobbies
The woman said that Rahul’s monthly salary of Rs 14,000 was not enough to fulfill her desires of expensive clothes, branded mobiles and modern lifestyle. While searching for a job, she came in contact with an unknown woman on social media. First she was taken into confidence by giving expensive gifts and mobile phones, then gradually she was included in the prostitution network. From here his life took a dangerous turn.
Was working as a ‘call girl’ for the last one year
The woman admitted that she was working as a call girl for the last one year. Not only this, she herself also arranged for other girls as per the demands of the customers. During police investigation, many shocking evidences were found from his mobile. Pictures of dozens of girls were found in WhatsApp chats, which he used to send to customers. This indicates that the matter may not be just an individual issue but may be related to a larger network.
Husband came to know the truth after arrest
After the arrest, the woman called her second husband Rahul and told him that she was caught in the police action. When Rahul reached Begusarai, he came to know about his wife’s reality. This incident became not only a legal matter but also a story of social and family breakdown.
She used to go to many districts when she got customers.
According to the police, while living in Patna, the woman used to go to many districts of Bihar to meet customers. This indicates that the network may extend to many parts of the state. DSP Anand Kumar Pandey said that illegal business was conducted in the hotel by calling suspicious women from outside. Objectionable material has also been recovered in the raid.
According to legal experts, if convicted under sections related to human trafficking and prostitution, there can be a harsh punishment of 7 to 10 years. At present, the police is busy searching for the hotel owner and the woman who is said to be the mastermind behind this entire racket.
