This is how bio CNG is prepared
Indore has been preparing bio-CNG from waste since 2018. Every day 20 to 30 tonnes of garbage comes out daily from the goddess Ahilyabai vegetable market of Indore. The biggest thing is that this waste is completely biodegradable waste. In such a situation, the Indore Municipal Corporation took out the best way to settle it many years ago.
Indore set up a bio CNG plant, where up to 20 tons of wet waste was consumed daily. Due to this, the bio-CNG gas is prepared, the Municipal Corporation not only drives the city bus in the city. Rather, it also provides gas at the refill station for many other vehicles. Due to this, the Municipal Corporation earns millions every month and also saves the expenses incurred on the fuel of the bus.
Every day is ready so bio-CNG
In the month of September last year, ‘Gobardhan’ plant was set up from Indore Municipal Corporation. With this, 17,000 kg bio-CNG is prepared every day. It is used as an alternative to fuel in the city. It saves 1.30 lakh tonnes of carbon dioxide every year, which also helps in keeping the city’s environment clean. This bio-CNG plant is the largest such plant not only in the country.
