Buoyed by Irumudi’s Success, Ravi Teja Sets Sights on Sankranthi 2027

Irumudi has brought Ravi Teja back into strong box-office form. The film’s impressive opening has once again proved that the actor can draw audiences and deliver big numbers when backed by the right content.

The success of Irumudi also highlights an important shift in Ravi Teja’s recent choices. Instead of relying only on routine mass entertainers, the actor now appears to be exploring more age-appropriate roles and stories with stronger emotional content.

His previous film BMW, a family entertainer, was also a step in that direction.

In Irumudi, Ravi Teja plays a character that suits his age, while the emotional core of the story has connected well with audiences. The film’s success has now given his next project an added boost.

Ravi Teja is set to enter the Sankranthi 2027 race with a new multistarrer alongside Sree Vishnu. The film will be directed by Raja Raja Chora fame Hasith Goli and produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The project is scheduled to be officially launched on August 28, with the makers planning a theatrical release on January 14, 2027.

The Sankranthi 2027 lineup is already getting crowded. Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s January 12 Vidudala, Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka and Sai Dharam Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu have already announced their festive release plans.

Ravi Teja and Sree Vishnu’s multistarrer will now add another major Telugu film to the Sankranthi competition.

With Irumudi turning into a major success, Ravi Teja’s market and business prospects are expected to receive a significant boost. His next film, especially with Sree Vishnu and Hasith Goli, is therefore likely to generate strong interest among buyers and audiences.
