Bundelkhand’s unique Hanumanji, the idol of Bajrangbali grows as much as rice every day!

There are innumerable temples of Pawanputra Hanuman in the country but there is one such unique temple of Bajrangbali built in the forests of Chandpurwa in Hamirpur district of UP. Where the idol of Bajrangbali is thousands of years old and has emerged from the depths of the earth. The special thing about Patali Bajrangbali is that this unique idol grows as much as a grain of rice every day. Every year after Kartik Purnima, a huge fair is organized here, in which thousands of devotees from far away places come here and worship Bajrangbali to get their wishes fulfilled.

This temple is situated at a distance of 30 km from Hamirpur district headquarters of Uttar Pradesh. This unique temple of Bajrang Bali is famous in the whole country because of the gradual growth of the statue of Bajrang Bali. When this statue was installed, the size of this statue was around 1.25 feet, but now the size of the statue has become more than 2 feet. This temple of Hanuman ji is counted among the Siddhapeethas and every wish made from the heart is fulfilled here. The idol of Patali Bajrangbali is kept in a pit located deep in the same place, for whose darshan thousands of devotees come during the two-day fair.

It is said for this unique statue that there used to be a fierce forest here. Wild animals roamed freely. The one who had land started farming by cutting down the forest. Meanwhile, when he was plowing the field, he saw a red stone, so he tried to remove it, but he could not. Since it was evening, he left the idol like this and went home. At night, Bajrangbali gave him a dream that he should not dig that idol now, because one of his feet is in the underworld. Let me stay in this place.

This is how the temple was established

When the farmer came to the field in the morning, he saw that the idol had come a little higher. When he informed a sadhu about this, the sadhu along with the villagers got the Hanuman ji statue installed there. According to Mahant Balram ji of the temple, this idol of Bajrangbali was initially small and is gradually getting bigger with time. It has not been possible to estimate how deep it is in the ground. Since then the temple was established here and now all the wishes of the devotees coming here are fulfilled.

Devotees come from far and wide

Local elder Devidin told that the ancestors had said that this temple of Bajrangbali is related to the Mahabharata period. Here, before spending an unknown life in the city of Virat, the Pandavas had come to this place called Itara and worshiped the Lord, that is why this supernatural idol is there. He said that every devotee who comes here pays homage with a true heart. Baba always has immense compassion and blessings on him. This is the reason that all the wishes of the devotees who come here from far and wide are fulfilled.

One foot of the statue in the underworld

Every year a two-day fair is organized at Itra Bajrangbali Dham from the first Tuesday after Kartik Purnima. In which thousands of devotees from far and wide come to worship Bajrangbali. One foot of this idol, which was located deep within the earth 1000 years ago, is still in the underworld. This rare supernatural statue of Bajrangbali which keeps growing a little every year. The importance of this place can be estimated by seeing the crowd gathered in this temple and fair located in the forest of Chandrapurva village of Hamirpur district.
