Boom in international ports business

Adani Ports’ International Ports business showed tremendous growth. Revenue increased by 80 percent to Rs 1,747 crore and EBITDA jumped 256 percent to Rs 730 crore. This growth was driven by strong performance in Australia and Colombo, reflecting the increasing maturity level of APSEZ’s overseas portfolio.

According to Adani Ports’ investor presentation, marine revenue increased by 67 percent to Rs 901 crore. This was due to the continuous increase in offshore vessel fleet and expansion of subsea operations in Europe.

Revenue from domestic ports grew by 12 per cent year-on-year due to higher cargo volumes, better product mix and better realisations. EBITDA margin for the domestic ports business was 74 percent, which is the best in its category.
