A tragic accident took place in Anand district of Gujarat on Monday. An under-construction bridge of the Bullet Train project collapsed. Due to the collapse of the bridge, many workers were buried under the debris. As soon as information about the accident was received, Anand Police and Fire Brigade teams reached the spot and started the rescue operation. So far, one laborer has been pulled out from the debris and admitted to the hospital. Relief and rescue work is going on rapidly at the spot.

A worker was pulled from the debris
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited said three workers got trapped between concrete blocks at the construction site of the bullet train project on Mahi river on Monday evening. Relief work is going on with the help of cranes and excavation machines. A laborer has been rescued and is admitted to the hospital. At present, no information has been received about any casualty in the accident.
