Why is Bada Mangal special?
There are many stories prevalent about Bada Mangal. According to one of them, Hanumanji met Shri Ram for the first time on Tuesday of Jyeshtha month. The second belief is that on this day Hanumanji broke the ego of Pandu’s son Bhima. Due to these beliefs, every Tuesday of Jyeshtha month is called Bada and Budhwa Mangal. On these Tuesdays, special worship and remedies of Hanumanji are done. Bada Mangal is considered to have the most importance in Uttar Pradesh.
