The Brazil national football team is reportedly planning to play a friendly match in India in the month of October during the first FIFA international window.
The CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) is negotiating a third game in India, slated for early October, in addition to the two games already scheduled against Australia on September 25 in Townsville and September 29 in Brisbane, according to ESPN Brasil. Opponents to be determined.
The match will be played in Kolkata.
The report also claimed that negotiations between the CBF and the organisers began during the 2026 World Cup in the US.

The plans form part of the new “Super FIFA window”, an international period lasting up to 16 days and allowing each national team to play as many as four matches, including competitive fixtures and friendlies.
ESPN also confirmed with the CBF that Brazil intend to stage more friendlies at home in 2027, particularly in cities that are usually left off the national team’s schedule.
