Brad Pitt’s Cliff Booth Returns: New Film ‘The Further Mis-Adventures’ Set for Theatrical and Netflix Release

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is set to reprise his Oscar-winning role as stuntman Cliff Booth in David Fincher’s highly anticipated film, ‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’.

Netflix has released fresh first-look images, generating significant buzz for the movie, which will first hit IMAX screens globally for two weeks starting November 25, followed by its streaming debut on Netflix on December 23.

The newly unveiled images offer a glimpse into the action-packed world of Booth. One photo shows Pitt in goggles, skillfully navigating a derby car on a dirt track, hinting at thrilling sequences. Another captures him in a casual conversation with Elizabeth Debicki at a bar, while a third features Pitt alongside Debicki, Scott Caan, and Carla Gugino on a tennis court, suggesting a blend of action and character-driven moments.

Written by Quentin Tarantino, this film serves as a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed 2019 hit ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. Pitt once again steps into the shoes of Booth, the loyal stunt double to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton from the original. The narrative is set in 1977, eight years after the events of the first film, and explores Booth’s journey as he navigates a dramatically changed Hollywood landscape.

The cast also features a strong ensemble including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. A previously released trailer offered a chilling hint of Booth’s past, with Pitt’s character stating, “Let’s just say I know what it’s like to kill someone with a knife.” Pitt is also a producer on the film, alongside Cean Chaffin. ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ was a massive box-office success, grossing USD 377 million worldwide and earning Pitt his first acting Oscar among its 10 Academy Award nominations. While Tarantino penned the script, he opted not to direct, citing a desire to explore new creative territories for his final directorial project.
