Bomb threat to more than 100 schools of Delhi-NCR, nothing found anywhere, Home Ministry said – seems like a fake call

There was an atmosphere of chaos in more than 100 schools of Delhi and Noida this morning after receiving the news of bomb. After the bomb call, fire brigade was immediately called from where fire tenders, Delhi Police and Anti Bomb Squad people reached the spot. All the schools were searched. Nothing was found anywhere. In view of security, the school children were sent back home. Home Ministry and Delhi Police called it a fake call.

The Home Ministry said that there is no need to panic. It appears that this is a fake call. Delhi Police and security agencies are taking necessary steps as per protocol. Delhi Police said that some schools in Delhi received e-mails containing bomb threats. Delhi Police conducted a thorough investigation of all such schools as per protocol. Nothing objectionable was found. It appears that these calls are fake. We request the public not to panic and maintain peace.

According to the information, threatening emails were sent to about 100 schools including Delhi-NCR. The same email was sent everywhere. Police and fire brigade received bomb calls from more than 60 schools in Delhi. Whereas in Noida and Greater Noida this number remained around 40. Nothing suspicious has been found anywhere yet. Investigation has been completed at most places. Many Jagaj SOPs are still being followed. The IP address of the email sender has not yet been identified.

The first information has come from DPS School in Dwarka, Delhi, where the news of the bomb was received. After this, the school administration immediately informed the police and sent the children back home. The bomb squad has reached the spot along with the security personnel. The entire school is being searched. The second case is of Mother Mary School located in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi. Children have been sent back from here also.

After Delhi, bomb threat has also been received in Noida DPS, after which all DPS schools have been closed. For this, a message has been sent by the Principal to the parents of all the children in which the news of school holiday has been given. Police force has been sent to all the DPS schools of Noida and the schools are being inspected closely.

A message has been issued from the Principal Office to the parents of the students in which it is written that the school is being closed due to emergency. In this message, information has also been given about receiving an email related to the safety of students. It is written in the message that the children are being sent back for safety reasons. Children have been sent back to schools where information related to the bomb has been received. Police forces have been sent to all places. The case is being investigated.

Threat sent through e-mail

Let us tell you that threats have been sent to these schools through e-mail, in which the same pattern has been used. At the same time, Delhi Police has issued a statement asking the parents and guardians of the children not to worry. Delhi Police has said that efforts are being made to trace the IP address of the threatening e-mail. According to the police, nothing suspicious has been found anywhere yet. Police said that this could also be a conspiracy by miscreants to spread panic.

Bomb not found during search

Since Wednesday morning, Delhi Police had been continuously investigating all the schools where there was news of bomb, in such a situation, after searching many schools, the police came out. Police has said that the e-mails related to the bomb were being sent to spread rumours. Were done. Till now, nothing suspicious has been found in the schools which have been searched by the police. Police have requested everyone not to create panic. According to the police, searches have been completed in many schools including big schools of South Delhi, two branches of Amity School, DPS, Green Field School Saket, DPS RK Puram. The investigation team has not found anything suspicious here.
