There was a threat of bomb being planted in more than 100 schools of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday morning, after which there was chaos there. Officials said the school received a threat through email about a bomb being planted on the campus. All schools were evacuated and local police were informed about the email. Delhi Police is busy investigating the case. Initial investigation has revealed the bomb threat’s connection with Russia.
The investigation so far has revealed that all the schools have received the same mail. The threat mail has been CCed to all and is written as RU, which points towards Russia. According to the investigating agencies, it is not necessary that all the mail was sent from Russia to the schools of Delhi-NCR. This conspiracy can be done even while sitting in India.
There may be conspiracy threads related to foreign countries
Investigative agencies suspect that not a single person but some organization is behind the threatening emails in schools. The strings of the conspiracy may be linked to foreign countries. Today’s day and time was fixed as part of the conspiracy. The basis behind the suspicion is that almost identical emails were sent to all the schools simultaneously and at the same time. The IP address turns out to be of the same server located abroad. Interpol’s help is being taken to get to the bottom of the conspiracy.
At the same time, the Home Ministry has said that this threat appears to be a rumor and there is no need to panic. Delhi Police said that it has thoroughly investigated all those schools where bomb threats were received. According to Delhi Police, nothing was found in the investigation. Delhi Police said in a post on X that some schools in Delhi received emails containing bomb threats.
Delhi Police has conducted a thorough investigation of all such schools as per protocol. The post further said, nothing objectionable has been found. It appears that this is a rumor. We request people not to panic and maintain peace.
These schools received bomb threats
There were reports of bombs being found in Delhi Public Schools in Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida West. Apart from this, mails reached Delhi’s Sanskriti School, Amethi School, Mother Mary School Mayur Vihar and DPS School, KP-5, Greater Noida West. After receiving the mail, the school manager immediately informed the families of the children. Fire department, Delhi Police and Noida Police were also informed about this, after which the team reached the spot.
About 5 private schools of West Delhi also received threatening mails. DAV School located in Vikaspuri, Guru Harkishan School located in Hari Nagar, Salwan Junior School located in Narayana area, St. Mark’s School and SL Suri DAV School received threatening mail.
