Telangana BJP President hit back at Congress’ ‘flop show’ statement. He said that Congress is restless due to Nitin Nabin’s visit because BJP’s presence is increasing in the state. BJP is not bothered by the comments of the opposition and is getting stronger.
Telangana BJP president N Ramachander Rao on Thursday hit back at Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Goud’s comments in which he targeted BJP national president Nitin Nabin. Rao said that BJP is not at all bothered by the opposition’s comments as the party is getting stronger.
Congress’s anxiety has increased: BJP
Speaking to ANI, Rao said that not only the party cadre but also the general public had welcomed Nabin wholeheartedly. “After CM Revanth Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Gaur also commented on the visit of BJP national president Nitin Nabin, calling it a “flop show”. Not only the party cadre, but also the public gave a grand welcome to BJP president Nitin Nabin. This clearly shows that the Congress party and its TPCC president have become uneasy, as they are worried about the growing presence of BJP in the state. BJP President Nitin Nabin’s visit exposed the corruption of the Congress party and the BJP in the state. We are not at all bothered by the Congress party’s comments. BJP is getting stronger, and we will come to power,” he said.
Nabin’s visit ‘flop show’: Congress
The comments came after Gaur criticized the BJP national president for saying that his Telangana tour was a “complete flop show”.
“Nabin’s Telangana tour is a complete flop show. With a national president coming to Telangana, the state party could not raise enough cadre. It is a complete flop show,” he said.
Revanth Reddy threatened to ‘crush’
Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had launched a scathing attack on Nitin Nabin during his three-day visit to the state and said the Congress would ‘crush’ the BJP in the next assembly elections.
Nitin Nabin, during his Telangana tour, had expressed confidence of BJP’s victory in the 2028 assembly elections. Hitting back, Revanth Reddy said his tactics used in West Bengal would not work in Telangana.
Addressing the Rythu Bharosa program in Hyderabad, CM Reddy said, “Recently, a person came here, Nabeen or whatever, I don’t really know his name. But he comes here and says, the next government is his. You said the same about West Bengal. It took you 15 years (to form the government) in West Bengal. There, because Mamata Banerjee was there, your tricks might have worked. But here, all our people are ready, and they will crush you.” Will give.”
BJP will conduct statewide movement: Nabin
A day earlier, Nabeen had announced that the party would launch a statewide agitation against the Congress government in Telangana. He alleged that the ruling government has failed to fulfill the promises made to the people before the assembly elections. (ANI)
