BJP towards majority in Rajasthan, 4 MPs in danger of defeat, know the condition of MP Baba Balaknath

Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be performing brilliantly in Rajasthan and is very close to regaining power after 5 years. The party had also fielded 7 of its MPs as part of a special strategy to win the assembly elections, but as of now, if the party is getting majority, the MPs are also in danger of defeat. Former Union Minister and Lok Sabha MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is also lagging behind in the counting of votes. Everyone’s eyes are also on MP Baba Balaknath.

Let’s start with Jhotwara Assembly seat of Jaipur, where former Union Minister and MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was in the fray from BJP. A tough contest is going on here and Congress’s Abhishek Chaudhary is continuously leading. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has not been able to take the lead after 9 rounds of counting. Although he is still behind by 938 votes in the 23 rounds of counting, he is still lagging behind. According to the Election Commission, in the trends till 12 noon, out of 199 seats, BJP is leading on 117 seats while Congress is leading on only 70 seats.

2 BJP MPs slipped to third position

BJP MP Narendra Kumar is lagging behind from Mandawa seat and is behind by more than 7 thousand votes (7353) after 9 rounds of counting. Rita Choudhary of Congress is continuously leading. BSP’s Mohammad Siddiqui is at third place.

Similarly, another BJP MP Devji Patel is contesting from Sanchore assembly seat in Jalore district of the state but he is in danger of defeat and after 6 rounds of counting out of 21, he is running at third position. From here, Sukhram Bishnoi of Congress is leading by about 5 thousand votes (4946) while independent Jeeva Ram Choudhary is at second place here. BJP MP Devji Patel is at number three.

Like Sanchore seat, BJP MP Bhagirath Chaudhary is in danger of defeat in Kishangarh seat of Ajmer district. After 6 rounds of counting out of 20, Vikas Chaudhary of Congress is leading by about 5 thousand votes. Independent candidate Suresh Tak is running at second position while MP Bhagirath Choudhary is at third position. Vikas has received more than 29 thousand votes so far while Bhagirath Choudhary has received only 11986 votes.

Clash between Baba Balaknath and Imran Khan

In the politics of the state, everyone’s eyes were on Tijara seat of Alwar district. There is a tough contest going on in this Muslim dominated seat between BJP MP Baba Balaknath and Congress’s Imran Khan. After counting of 7 rounds out of 20, Baba Balaknath is continuously in the lead. He is leading over his nearest rival Imran Khan by more than 16 thousand votes. Baba Balaknath has got 43635 votes so far while Imran has got 27018 votes.

Good news for BJP is coming from Vidyadharnagar seat of Jaipur because one of its 7 MPs, Diya Kumari, is leading in the elections. After 11 rounds of counting out of 21, Diya Kumari has got a lead of more than 35 thousand votes. Here, BJP had canceled the ticket of the sitting MLA and given the ticket to Diya Kumari. Sitaram Aggarwal of Congress is running at second position and has got 47835 votes.

BJP has lead in Sawai Madhopur

BJP had fielded MP and veteran leader Kirori Lal Meena from Sawai Madhopur seat in Sawai Madhopur district and he is leading from Congress MLA Danish Abrar by more than 5 thousand votes after 6 phases of counting.
