Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [भारत]July 24 (ANI): Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), terming the ruling party as the ‘root’ of all the current problems of the country.
The Samajwadi Party chief used an analogy to criticize the government’s policies and governance on the issue, suggesting that superficial solutions will not work when the core issue remains unresolved. Yadav wrote in his post, “When the disease is at the root, no one will buy the cure for the fruit. Every problem in the country has only one root, which is stuck there: You must have heard the name ‘BJP’.” The SP chief further escalated his rhetoric by calling for the removal of BJP from power and raising the slogan: “No fast track; BJP go back!” This comes after massive protests across the country against the national level examination system and demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Meanwhile, high-level discussions are set to take place today as representatives of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) are scheduled to meet BJP national president JP Nadda at the CCI today at 12:30 pm. The meeting is taking place amid the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar, where protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET exam.
On Thursday, student and youth organizations protested in Bhopal against police action on protesters at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam paper leak issues. The protesters also raised concerns over unemployment, demanded filling of vacant government posts and demanded action in the case of nursing college irregularities. Students from about 20 districts of Madhya Pradesh participated in this demonstration.
In Himachal Pradesh, CPI(M)-affiliated Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) held a protest in Shimla in support of the student-led protests against the central government over the NEET paper leak and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Protests were also held in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Bihar against NEET irregularities. (ANI)
